before you can see your wings

Hello Again.
In my last post I published, I went over the creation of your wings, this is one of the easiest and fun steps. But it's a very crucial step too, because changing what your wings looks like not only erases all progress and puts you back at step one, but it can also lead to deformed wings or extreme complications that can be easily avoided. Anyways, it's time to go on to the next step simple visualization techniques.

Visualization is a very powerful resource, it allows you to see and feel things that aren't there and is used in almost anything related to shifting, psionic, and similar things. So lets start with a simple exercise to get you used to the idea of visualization. Feel free to try them all and see which type seems to work the best for you.

From the Darkness

This exercise is called From the Darkness because using visualization you create things from the darkness. So get in a comfortable sitting position and relax and close your eyes if you're not seeing complete blackness than cover your eyes with a piece of dark fabric or turn off any lights or close the curtains whatever is necessary

So now that you're gazing into a vast and empty darkness it's time to create something, perhaps you can start of with a 2 dimensional shape like a circle or square or even a 3 dimensional shape like a sphere or cube. start with a white outline and slowly stretch white fabric like material over your outline, then add details like textures, is it glassy, metallic, rough, add shadows or patterns, try painting the shape different colors or molding it into a new shape or crushing it back into nothingness. you can repeat this until you can create different objects easily and quickly, or move on to another exercise.

Out of Thin Air

This exercise is call Out of Thin Air because unlike From the Darkness you have your eyes open, although I find this method more difficult many seem to find it easier. Move into a room or into a quite open and flat and bright area. get into a comfortable position and pick a spot on the ground where you shape will be. start of with a white or black cube whichever will stand out most in your area. start with an outline that sits flat against the ground and stretch a fabric like material over the outline. visualize the shadow it make on the ground and the way any light sources will effect the object, will there be a gleam maybe a sparkle. try moving the cube around the room. after you are satisfied you can try this again with different shapes and colors or move onto another exercise.

A Different Reflection

This exercise is called A Different Reflection. You will need a mirror that can stand without you holding it. position the mirror or yourself so you are in a comfortable position and can see your entire face clearly in the mirror. now examine your face for a few minutes, after you are familiar with the shadows, gleams, and even the imperfections pick a part of you face such as your nose mouth or eyes, visualize them getting bigger, smaller, changing shape, or maybe switching places with another part of your face, maybe they change color or disappear completely, you can continue to do this until you satisfied and try a different part of your face or try a different exercise.

Now you may not have mastered any of these exercises or perhaps you made no progress at all, and that actually normal. You will eventually reach the necessary skill level to continue but it takes time and practice, and a don't continue to try these over and over again for more than several minutes at a time. even if you're not getting any visible results you're still using energy unless you know how to borrow energy from objects you'll use up all you're energy and be left with a nasty headache and a grumpy attitude and we don't want that. So take a five minute break very ten minutes or so, and only practice for an hour or two a day.

In my next post we will begin visualizing your wings.

Until next time. Lates, KataBat

The fun Stuff

So you're absolutely positive that you want to grow wings and embark on this 2-4 year journey of pain and short moments of pure glee, and you've even read and answered the questions on my first post and still are 100% sure. Well that's great!

Now in the beginning of your journey I find it's best to start out with the basic and fun things like; wingspan, feathers or no feathers, color, and all that good stuff. So Lets get started. (and though not necessary I suggest keeping a journal through out the whole endeavor)

Now answer the following questions (and write down in your optional journal if you want to)

  • What is my wingspan? (weight divided by five is the most common way to do so [not sure if it's right])
  • Am I going to have feathers on my wings? (yes or no)
  • If I said yes to the last question: what color size shape any patterns will they resemble any other animals feathers? If I said no: will I have scales or just plain skin, what color, any patterns will they resemble the wings of another animal, or perhaps more insect-like wings?
  • I'm not just focusing on the look of my wings but how they will function to such as their stealth, speed, agility, ability to be concealed, and other important features.
  • Will they have accessories like horns, tattoos, or any other unique accessories?
  • I'm 100% certain of what I want my wings to look like.
  • I can easily visualize my wings alone and on my back. (if not draw a picture even if you're a horrible artist and if you're super stubborn I can help my sending you images just email me or comment.
  • What will my wings feel like between my fingers, look like when wet, or in the dark or in broad day-light, what will they sound like beating against the wind, or even smell like? (weird but sorta gets the point across)
  • What are my wings weaknesses and strong-points, and am I ok with them?
  • I can answer all  of these questions. (if so you are ready to move on)

Congratulations! you've made it through the easiest and fun stage of your journey for a LONG time!
Feel free to share you answers in the comment section and ask questions.

That's all for now. Lates, KataBat

Short Intro

Hello, my name (not real name) is KataBat. I'm writing this blog to help people accomplish a widely believed to be impossible feat. The methods I mention here are not guaranteed, nor are they 100% reliable. I've been researching methods and growing or shifting wings (whichever you prefer.) for over 3 years. There is very little information about this subject and even less reliable information. Everything I write is my own personal translation of everything I've currently read, seen, found on the web, in books, and through other sources.

Some basic facts that should be stated simply and before I write anything further:

# Wings are new appendages that grow from your shoulder-blade/upper-back area and will take a long amount of time to grow, the average estimate being 2-4 years.

# Growing wings is a very painful process, as you are growing and changing your whole nervous system, and it effects every fiber in your being not just your back.

# Once your wings are grown they're there to stay, they can't shift back into your abdomen or disappear. (unless cut off, which might or might not work since I've never tested it.)

# Growing wings takes a lot of energy and effort and won't be accomplished unless you're motivated.

# Before you get exited and start planning to go flying please consider the following.
  • You may be seen as a monster and never be accepted by society and may be seen as a possible threat to not only society but the world.
  • You may be putting yourself and family in danger.
  • There are people out there who will do everything in their power to terminate or capture you
  • Are you completely sure this is what you want to do?
  • Are you ready to leave at any given moment for the greater good of your health and the health of loved ones?
  • Are you willing to go through years of pain?
  • Are you sure that in a couple months, years, decades, that you won't regret your final decision.
  • This is a BIG decision and should not be rushed into or decided over the course of a few days but the course of a few weeks.

Well that's it for now. Lates, KataBat.
